That means everything used in the shop – from beer bottles to razor blades and, brushes to scissors – is recycled. Even your hair is made into booms that will be used to soak up oil spills in the ocean. How clever is that? And you can bring back your empty plastic product bottles (shampoo, conditioner, etc) and we’ll get those turned into something useful too.
The people from Sustainable Salons visit us every fortnight and take everything away to be recycled. Our clients pay a $2 levy to pay for the initiative and all profits go to a very worthwhile charity to feed the hungry: Oz Harvest.
