“After more than 20 years in Darlinghurst, you feel like a big part of the community. We’re always having the local characters wander by to say hello. Some we know by name. Others by their eccentric attire. It’s humbling to play a part in such a dynamic inner-city neighbourhood.
Often we’ll visit St John’s Church across the road to help out through the Short Back n’ Sidewalks program; a wonderful initiative that sees the homeless, vulnerable and marginalised given haircuts; free of charge and free of judgement.
We’re also involved with a local Facebook group called Darlo Darlings, where we assist with outreach work.
