One of the staff here is highly unprofessional with new customers. I decided to give this place a go on 25th January... during my one month visit in Sydney given that its close to where I live and the reviews seem fairly positive. However I was appalled by the way one of the staff had treated me as soon as I entered. I was not greeted with a simple "hello" or "hi" but instead he gave me a grumpy look and asked, "do you have a booking?". When I say no, he gave me a look of disgust as if I had done something wrong. As soon as we had confirmed a time, I kid you not, the first words that came out of his mouth was "don't be late ok" with an extremely condescending tone. He did not even bother to ask my name or phone number so would have been a mess if I came back to identify myself. I find this highly unprofessional and disrespectful for a place that charges $67 for a wash & cut given that this is my first coming to this place (hence I would not no history of coming late) and that staff is basically implying that I am someone who is tardy. I ended up not going through with the booking and went to another place for a $20 cut where I was treated with some very very basic manners and respect.read more

Decent but waaaay overpriced for a haircut and beard trim. I paid over $100 (haircut is a buzz cut) when I get the... same quality for less than $25 elsewhere nearby. Once bitten, definitely not going back. There are various options nearby that are equally as good and won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Update: pffttt it wasn’t an hour at all. A half blade head shave a beard line up. I’m never more than half an hour in a chair. I get my hair cut every week and a half. $110 a fortnight is never going to happen.read more

I recieved excellent service from hair stylist Natalie, I had a minor issue from a previous haircut and Natalie was... quick to fix this. She is clearly a highly skilled and talented hair dresser with great knowledge of products and how to style hair. Not only did Natalie provide a great haircut but she was very chatty and friendly and extremely professional. Thanks again, Natalie!read more

Being new to Sydney it’s hard to find a Barber that you’re comfortable with let alone not knowing if they’ll... completely butcher you’re hair. Came here for the first time from the welsh barber and found a place that actually takes time and effort into the craft of fading. I think he blended it well and a proper proper fade. It is pricey but results do showread more

From the moment that you enter you feel at home – like walking into your own mancave – that relaxed, personalised environment where you get offered a beer to ensure the time spent is optimised. I love listening to the blabber of Elvis, Mark and Nick as they go about “creating” their next work of art on the next "Distinguished Fella". I have to confess… I try and arrive 30 min earlier just to bask in the “happiness” that this place creates. Let me say it – "I love this place!" – and dare I say.. I love the "beards of art" that Nick, Mark, and Elvis creates.
